An active partner in the development of the francophone community in British Columbia for over 15 years, the CSF has more than 4,800 students enrolled in kindergarten to grade 12 in its 37 public schools serving more than one hundred communities across British Columbia
The Conseil scolaire francophone is recognised nation-wide for its dynamism and innovative spirit. With over 900 teaching assistants, teachers, resource teachers, administration staff and other personnel, the CSF is one of the most important francophone employers in Western Canada. With information and communication technologies deployed in all its classrooms, the CSF is a Canadian leader in the field of individualised and computer-assisted teaching.
The student body of the Conseil scolaire francophone de la C.-B. reflects the international francophone community of the 21st century, with students from over sixty different ethnic origins, who contribute through their presence and their identities to the cultural and economic vitality of the community and the sustainability of the French language in British Columbia.
The Conseil scolaire francophone de la C.-B. is the only school authority in British Columbia to offer the complete francophone education program. It also hosts a broad range of preschool services in a number of its schools.
