\nMonsieur,<\/p>\n

Apre\u0300s plusieurs semaines de ne\u0301gociations, la BC Public School Employees\u2019 Association (BCPSEA) et la BC Teachers\u2019 Federation (BCTF) ne sont pas parvenues a\u0300 une re\u0301solution au conflit qui les oppose. Je me dois donc de vous informer que malheureusement la rentre\u0301e scolaire 2014-2015 est reporte\u0301e a\u0300 une date ulte\u0301rieure.<\/p>\n

Le mardi 2 septembre, les 38 e\u0301tablissements du CSF n\u2019ouvriront pas leurs portes aux plus de 5 300 e\u0301le\u0300ves inscrits.<\/p>\n

Je re\u0301alise pleinement les difficulte\u0301s organisationnelles ainsi que l\u2019inquie\u0301tude face a\u0300 l\u2019accomplissement des programmes scolaires qu\u2019une telle situation suscite au sein de chaque famille. Soyez assure\u0301(e) toutefois que tout sera mis en \u0153uvre par l\u2019ensemble du personnel du CSF, lors du retour a\u0300 la normale, afin d\u2019atteindre tous les objectifs.<\/p>\n

Je communiquerai avec vous de nouveau de\u0300s la re\u0301ception de nouvelles informations et de pre\u0301cision sur la date de la rentre\u0301e scolaire 2014-2015.<\/p>\n

Dear Madam:
\nDear Sir:<\/p>\n

After several weeks of negotiations, the BC Public School Employees\u2019 Association (BCPSEA) and the BC Teachers\u2019 Federation (BCTF) still haven\u2019t resolved their labour dispute. Therefore, I unfortunately have to inform you that the start of the 2014-2015 school year is being postponed to a later date.<\/p>\n

On Tuesday September 2, our 38 schools will not open their doors to the more than 5,300 students enrolled in the CSF.<\/p>\n

I fully understand the logistical challenges as well as the concerns each family is facing regarding the impact of the situation about the completion of school programs. However, rest assured that every effort will be made by the entire CSF staff to make sure all goals are met once things get back to normal.<\/p>\n

I will contact you again as soon as I will have new information and details about the possible starting date for the 2014-2015 school year.<\/p>\n

While I remain at your disposal, please accept, Madam, Sir, the expression of my high consideration.<\/p>\n
