Intermediary Education Program
The International Baccalaureate® (IB) Intermediary Education Program (IEP) emphasizes intellectual challenges. It encourages students aged 11 to 16 to make concrete connections between their education and the real world, thus preparing them for success in their post-secondary education and their future lives.
Why choose the IEP?
Research shows that students enrolled in the IEP:
- gain the self-confidence they need to take charge of their own learning;
- learn by doing, allowing them to make connections between the classroom and the broader world;
- consistently achieve better grades on IB diploma program examinations;
- develop an understanding of global issues and become engaged as responsible citizens.
