International Baccalaureate
In the Diploma Program, teaching and learning are organized around six subject groups, which are based on the core curriculum.
Students are required to choose one course in each of the groups. You can find out more about the six subject groups on the IB program website.
At the end of the Diploma Program, students must take written exams in most of these courses. Also, in a number of subjects, they must complete projects that are graded externally. The requirements of the three components of the Diploma Program core curriculum include the completion of projects.
The Diploma Program curriculum is rigorous and balanced. It promotes students’ intellectual, social, emotional and physical well-being, and is recognized by universities throughout the world.
