TRANSPORTATION REGISTRATION AND ADDITIONAL FORMS

2020 – 2021 SCHOOL BUS INFORMATION

The CSF currently contracts for the operation of over 165 school bus routes providing school bus transportation service to CSF school students throughout B.C.

Changing student demographics requires a review of the bus routes each year, and to make adjustments where required. School bus routes are designed to service eligible students who have registered for the school bus before June 30th of the current school year. Parents are reminded that they must register their children for the school bus EACH YEAR.

School bus service is provided to eligible riders in accordance with the District Transportation Policy. Eligible riders are defined as students residing within their school catchment area and whose homes are situated beyond the walk limits defined in the Transportation Policy P-1001 & Administrative Guidelines DA-1001  https://www.csf.bc.ca/csf-eng/policies/.

Parents must complete an on-line registration form before June 30th of the current school year, for each eligible rider.  School bus routes will be prepared on the basis of registrations received before this date.

Parents may also use the on-line registration form to request a secondary stop at an alternate address to accommodate the parental custody and licensed day care needs of an eligible rider.  A secondary stop must not alter or extend the existing route.

On-line registration requires a valid email address. Parents without a valid email address should contact their school for assistance.

Students who enrol at the beginning of the school year will register for transportation at the time of enrolment utilizing a paper form which is to be faxed by the school to the bus service provider.

Application for 2020 – 2021 will be accepted as of May 1st, 2020.
