Innovative Cultural Education

Through its strategic plan, the CSF promotes collaboration, innovation and engagement in order to foster the success of all learners in a Francophone setting.

The CSF is part of a minority Francophone community throughout the province, and it recognizes the importance of maintaining ties with businesses and external organizations to promote and showcase the Francophonie in the schools. In that context, the CSF works in collaboration with community partners to offer cultural projects to students from kindergarten through grade 12, with the goal of encouraging learners to develop their core competencies. Since the beginning of the 2020-2021 school year, selected projects offered by partners have been grouped into 5 target themes by CSF students and staff :

  • Diversity, Inclusion and Openness to the World
  • The Environment and Climate
  • Indigenous Studies
  • Artistic Expression
  • Sports and Wellness

Every year, the CSF also offers projects involving multiple schools (the Book Fair, Francophone Connections, MONU, Leadership Camps, etc.) bringing students from different regions of the province together around activities that develop their sense of belonging.

The CSF’s participation in a range of projects and a large number of events also promotes the social and cultural development of the Francophone community.
